CSIR UGC NET 2024
The Joint CSIR UGC NET is a national-level exam held twice a year to assess candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship in Science and Technology subjects. The exam covers five subjects: Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Mathematical Sciences.

The NTA conducted the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2023 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on December 26, 27, and 28, 2023. Out of the 2,19,146 registered candidates, 1,75,355 appeared for the exam across 356 centers in 176 cities nationwide.

Provisional answer keys and candidate responses were released on January 6, 2024, allowing challenges until January 8, 2024. Expert-verified final answer keys were used for scoring. The NTA declared individual scores on February 4, 2024. CSIR UGC NET Cut-off Marks:
The NTA has published CSIR UGC NET subject and category-wise cut-off marks on its website. These minimum marks are crucial for JRF and Lectureship qualification, determined by factors like the number of candidates, exam difficulty, and reservation policies.
Next Steps After Qualification:
Candidates who qualify for JRF can pursue research in their subjects at CSIR or UGC-recognized institutions. They are also eligible for Lectureship, subject to UGC criteria. Those qualifying for Lectureship only can teach in colleges and universities as Assistant Professors.
CSIR UGC NET Certificates and Final Result:
